I wanted to dance,
So I took a chance,
And asked her out on the floor.
She seemed to me,
So graceful and free,
I wanted to know so much more.
We danced round and round,
Two inches above ground,
How could I be so smitten?
We waltzed through the night,
Until Dawns early light,
My legs were as weak as a kitten.
She kissed me so long,
My heart filled with song,
I was doing things I never do.
She said with her eyes,
There are no good byes,
And we will always have these moments, us two.
