The
Oxygen Cure
100%
pure oxygen is helping to save the lives of patients.
If
the human brain were so simple
that
we could understand it,
we
would be so simple that we couldn’t.

High
Success Rate
Doctors
and researchers at the Brain Radionecrosis Centre (BRC) have
pioneered the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for brain radiation
necrosis. Their results show that the treatments are
"safe and effective with a high success rate".
BRC's
cancer specialist Dr. Laurie Beth Gesell said the therapy is
designed to help heal injury to the brain following radiation
therapy for a brain tumour.
She
said, "We think that it affects how the blood vessels are
damaged from the radiation, kind of growing and regenerating the
neural tissues.
"It
is actually very simple. We have a patient breathe 100 percent
oxygen and we pressurize that oxygen to increase the oxygenation
in the tissues to do a variety of different treatments."
