A corner of a rainbow caught in my eye,
Small fragile butterfly wings broken, can’t fly.
Tears on the pavement, Gods way to cry,
Dampen the day when a butterfly dies.
Out in the fields where the dandelions grow
Legions of butterflies row upon row.
Flittering, fluttering filling the sky,
Sunshine breaks through, no reason why.
Acres of grassland, broken by trees,
Soft gentle blowing of mid summers breeze.
Scattering butterflies all over the place
Colorful angels floating in grace.
