Daughter of Life

Not because of our strength,
not because of our wit
but of love
we are given gifts, abilities
to shine,
to smile,
to rise
to humanity a meaning,
create joy,
create harmony,
create peace,
and the paradisal music of tomorrow,
to discover purpose,
meaning
allegorized in the finitude of body,
unite chaotic processes
into one beautiful orchestra of civilization.
