Optimus' Ode
It was an accident that intertwined our fates,
whether fair or foul that meeting at the gates.
The journeys path upon which we tread leads on,
shadows cast by a future sun look dark at the dawn.
Our lives we give to the ones we love and friends we find,
and do the deeds not for coin, but for that which gives back
in kind.
Where in time at some future end we may again meet,
With open arms and smiling face I will there you greet.
