Why do Fools Fall in Love on Television?

So predictable is television romance, much to my chagrin;
stereotypical couples, usually an idiot and one with a brain.
I struggle to sit through the ones that I want to see to the end;
what priceless group does the telly target; it's not the sane!

I juggle the channels with my remote looking for . . . what?
I don't know; something magnificent to humble or excite?
Oh, I give up! may as well sleep; one day I'll write or call
tell them why fools DO fall in love so they can get it right!
