In-cell-ubrious
Did aught contraption raise the bile
Irritate mind and temper rile
Intellectual sensibilities defile
Than thee, O ubiquitous mobile?
Ay! Whither cast for pearls of solitude
Pensive moments when Nature broods
Pollyanna never had it so good as
When the polyphonic ring tone intrudes
Forsaken now, as past their time
Are thinking cap and writing quill
Redundant is impassioned eloquence
"Frnds sms rlz :-)", if you will!
The Jupiter and Beethoven's Ninth
Strauss and Wagner - naught but noise
Epiphanies once of elevated minds
These monarchs serve now as calling-boys
What irony! It is called a cell when
It purports to set thee free
Beware O man, of this inverted phallus
Thy latest archetypal necessity
