The Good Stuff
Poems
Buddy

Buddy
Barefoot, and with a determined look
Shrugging off every fear in his head
Running through green blades of grass
Chasing fireflies with a net, laughing
The summer of his awakening, the joy
Who would have thought it was possible
Finally realizing life could be such fun Free, unfettered, he discovered the
world
